The coach of Tesano Spinners, Nathaniel Kwesi Somuah, says his team is on course towards winning this season’s Stanbic Bank-Graphic Sports National Table Tennis League.
League leaders, Spinners, led the pack with 48 points after the first round, followed by Immigration with 46 points and [email protected] with 44 points.
The Nigerian duo of Rilwan Akanbi and Ahmed Bello have been the backbone of the Tesano-based club and they hope to maintain their good form in the second round to ensure victory.
In an interview with Coach Somuah in Accra yesterday, he hailed the efforts of fellow title chasers, Immigration and [email protected], to topple them at the top.

“We are ready and prepared to win the second round of the league and also win the league”, he stated.
According to him the team was being beefed with new players and a different strategy had been adopted for the second round that would ensure a repeat of their unbeaten first round record.
He also assured that the Spinners women’s team would win the women’s division of the league, counting on the Nigeria duo of Ayo Edo and Fati Bubello to push them through.
