Some old students of Cape-coast’s flagship school Adisadel College, have descended on the schools’ headmaster for the poor show at this years’ Science and Maths Quiz.
The angry old boys claim, Mr Kusi-Yeboah’s suit and his style of dressing brought bad omen to the school this year. According to them, the headmaster’s ‘zebra’ suit always brings bad luck and huge embarrassment to the school therefore they were expecting him to have learnt lessons from his past experience.
Mr Kusi-Yeboah became the toast of many who attended the grand finale of the just ended NSMQ 17 at the National Theater.
Though his school lost to Prempeh College, he became instant celebrity as the media cameras were seen chasing him as well as individuals and some old students running to him for photo shot.
But the headmaster told the media, he wore the customized suit to the event ground because he is an old student of Adisadel College and was hopeful his boys were going to carry the day.
However, his boys placed third with only 31 points whiles Prempeh College and St. Thomas Aquinas placed first and second with 53 and 51 points respectively. This performance the old boys believed to be blamed on the ‘Zebra’ headmaster.
