The entire leadership and members of Girls Girls for Nana Akufo-Addo led by their National Co-ordinator, Miss. Vera Wiredu wishes to extend our heart-felt regards to all women in Ghana, for their hard work and love throughout the year .

We are truly blessed to be members of Girls Girls for Nana Akufo-Addo. Because we have countless mothers and mentors such as the First Lady, H. E. Rebecca Akufo-Addo for the humility, patience, understanding, tender-care, simplicity and love she demonstrates in her day-to-day activities which epitomizes the hall-mark of a mother for all Ghanaians; far and near, the second lady H.E Samira Bawumia, Hon. Madam Otiko Afisa Djaba, to mention but a few who in diverse ways have inspired the women and youth of Ghana at large.

Anyone can be pregnant or adopt a child but it takes a real time, hard work and commitment to be a mother. Mothers are the home makers which is a noblest and greatest work. Without mothers our lives will be full of darkness and out of track and so we must all respect and love our mothers.

We salute all Ghanaian women for the countless efforts and pains you endure. It is indeed a blessing to be a mother. The greatest gift from heaven, filled with enormous love.

So our message on Mother’s Day is simple; Honor your mother and be great. Because in the book of Exodus chapter 20 verse 12, it reads ‘ Honor your father and mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you’. We say AYEKOO to all mothers.

We love you all mothers. Happy mother’s day.
Long Live All Ghanaian women!
Long live the Republic of Ghana!
Long live the New Patriotic Party (N.P.P)!
God bless us all!
…….Signed…….
Miss. Vera Wiredu
National Coordinator
