Nigerian On-Air-Personality, Brand Ambassador and Vlogger, Toke Makinwa has indicated that she would not change any aspect of her book, ‘On Becoming’ if she had to write it again.

Just when Toke arrived Ghana for the launch her book on Friday, February 3, 2017, news broke that her estranged husband, Maje Ayida had hired the counsel of Pinheiro LP law firms to halt sales of the book.

The law firm, according to sources is affiliated to Carter-Ruck, a leading defamation law firm in the United Kingdom (U.K) to top figures like Simon Cowell, Elton John and Chelsea FC.

Her ex-husband is threatening to sue her because the book, which is a memoir of Toke, recounts her relationship with Maje Ayida, who she describes in the book as a serial cheat who infested her with Sexual Transmitted Diseases (STD’s).

The allegations, according to Maje’s lawyer, Kemi Pinheiro, is false and ridicules his client, Maje’s, character.

However, Toke in an interview with Joy News’ MzGee insists she would not alter the book if she had a chance to write it again.

“If I have to do it again, I will do it all over again” adding that her book focuses on giving hope to the many who find themselves in similar situations.

Toke Makinwa and her ex-fitness expert Maje Ayida wedded at a private registry in Lagos, Nigeria in 2014.

She filed for divorce officially in March 2016 after rumours Maje had impregnated his girlfriend Anita Solomon in November 2015.
