Ahead of their Ghana Premier League clash with Olympics, caretaker coach of Asante Kotoko, Frimpong Manso, says that he is confident his side can get back to winning ways in the league.

Kotoko go into the match on a 8-match winless run which began with the 1-0 to Hearts of Oak in March.

They went to draw goalless with Inter Allies, lose 2-1 to Medeama, draw goalless with Dwarfs, lose 1-0 to Wa All Stars and draw 1-1 with Aduana Stars.

After the draw with Dwarfs, head coach, Dravko Logarusic was fired leading to the appointment of Godwin Ablordey as interim head coach and Frimpong Mansao was brought in as technical advisor.

Manso said after the team’s 3-1 loss to Hearts in the first leg of the ‘Ghana At 60 Years’ that the Porcupine Warriors would eventually get back to winning ways.

“I am looking at the performance of my team and I think the players are improving.

If you look at how we played against Hearts of Oak and how we fared in our previous games, I feel we are getting better and with time, we will get there.”

After playing against Olympics, the Porcupine Warriors will close out the first round of the league with a home tie against Tema Youth.
