Golden Tulip Accra has reaffirmed its continuous support to the needy with a call on Ghanaians to reflect on the theme for the upcoming celebration of Ghana’s 60th Independence Day Anniversary “Mobilising for Ghana’s future” to give unflinching support to orphans who are the most vulnerable in society.
General Manager of the hotel, Mr. Paul Kavanagh, who made the observation, noted that Ghana’s future lies with the youth, hence the need for all hands to be on deck to give the youth, especially orphans, the necessary support for them to realize their full potential.
He stated that the hotel has earmarked a series of events to mark the Independence Day celebration with a donation to Christ Faith Orphanage at Fafraha being the highlight of the activities.
“Together with our stakeholders and partners, we will raise funds to support management of Christ Faith Orphanage in their effort of raising orphans at the orphanage to become useful citizens.” he said.
Other activities earmarked by the hotel to mark Ghana’s 60th Anniversary celebration includes: Special Ghana @ 60 Weekend Package with reduced room rates throughout the weekend; Tennis Open Tournament between Golden Tulip Club members, VRA and Air Force Officers Mess Clubs; Ghana @ 60 ‘All White Pool Party’ all on Saturday; Elaborate Ghanaian Brunch Buffet with Ghanaian dishes on Sunday and Ghana @ 60 Birthday Gala Cocktail Party on the day of the celebration.
