Late last year, Wizkid had social media buzzing over the title name “STARBOY” used by Selena Gomez boyfriend, The Weekend, for his album. Though the fracas only lasted for a few weeks, there were hardly any comments regarding the issue by The Weekend.

The Weekend who officially turns 27 tomorrow the 16th of February already got an early present from his girlfriend, Selena Gomez. Although she couldn’t attend the party, Selena Gomez covered the $30,000 (N15 million) bill for a surprise party they had at Dave & Buster’s for The Weekend.

The surprise party which took place on Monday the 13th of February was graced by a number of big names in the music industry. Artists such as 2 Chains, Big Sean, French Montana, Migos and lots more were reported present at the celebration.

Selena Gomez had her surprises put in place and made sure some quality time was spent early enough due to some commitments she has over at the NYFW this week. The couple also celebrated an early Valentine’s Day over the weekend; renting a luxury yacht estimated to cost nothing less than $5,000 per hour.

Though the dating rumors between Selena Gomez and The Weekend started making rounds on social media during the second week of the year 2017, their relationship was officially confirmed just a few weeks ago. Words had started going around about both artists dating after a photo surfaced of them making out sometime in January.
