Kotoko to retire number four jersey in honour of Stephen Oduro

Kumasi Asante Kotoko Public Relations Officer, Obed Acheampong has disclosed that the club will honour Stephen Oduro by retiring the number four shirt for the upcoming league season.  

The 33-year has been an integral member of the Porcupine Warriors since he joining from Real Tamale United in the 2000 league season.   And the club have decided to honour his sixteen years services by resting the iconic number four jersey that he won throughout his stay with the club.      

“The jersey no.4 which was wore by Stephen Oduro has been retired for a season,” says Obed Acheampong on Metro FM.      

“He has done enough to merit the legendary status of the club”     “Oduro is a legend and there are packages for him and it will be made public soon”    

Oduro was a member of the Black Starlets squad that won Bronze in the 1999 FIFA U-17 World Cup in New Zealand.
