Scratch Universal, a recording studio in collaboration with Unity Entertainment of Chicago has launched a music single to support 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.

The single ‘Brazil One Big Party’ is to promote the use of condoms. It is also an appeal to the public to check on their HIV/AIDS status and the public limiting their sexual partners even as the joy of the World Cup unfolds coming June.

A charity organisation, Dream Child Foundation, which raises funds for the paediatric  needs, especially for the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS in children is supporting the campaign of ‘Protect The Goal’.

Kofi Amoakohene, chief executive officer (CEO) of Scratch Universal, co-founder of Dream Child Foundation and the writer of the single told the media at the launch that his outfit felt the need to encourage people to protect themselves by the use of condoms and by knowing their HIV/AIDS status by using the World Cup as a platform.

According to him, ‘There is the need for the fans to protect themselves while having fun in order to avoid HIV/AIDS and prevent its spread.’

The campaign ‘Protect The Goal’ came out as a result of the high rate of death governing HIV/AIDS and therefore the use of  music was chosen as a promotional instrument to reach out to the public to protect themselves and eradicate AIDS, said Olorogun Oscar Ibru, the chairman of the Dream Child Foundation.

‘Protect The Goal’ campaign is supported by personalities from the sporting world as well as other civic societies.

The single ‘One Big Party’ is available for digital download, caller ring back tones, MTN play and App stores. It’s also available on iTunes and major digital shops. Founders of this dream encouraged DJs to play the song to help promote the eradication of AIDS.
