Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah will make his 30-man squad for the Brazil Summer World Cup public today at a press conference at the GFA Secretariat after subjecting the entire team to anxiety.

It is not only the team that has been nervous about who makes it to South America in June; the media and the football populace alike have been uneasy, resulting in speculations about the list ahead the ‘Judgment Day’.

Officials of the FA and the technical team however denied the many lists that popped up some weeks ago.

Coach Appiah has indicated that there will not be major surprises in today’s list, having monitored most of the players from their respective leagues.

Of course, some key performers like skipper of the side Asamoah Gyan, Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, Dede Ayew, Kevin Prince Boateng, Kwadwo  Asamoah, Harrison Afful, Agyeman Badu, Abdul Majeed Waris, Samuel Inkoom, Rabiu Mohammed, John Boye for now, appear untouchable, and will be on board for the one month tourney.

Today’s exercise will offer the media the opportunity to question the coach on why he chose a player over the other, having discussed it with the Executive Committee of the FA earlier.

Meanwhile, former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah has advised Ghanaians to rally behind all those who would be selected for Brazil and not criticize, since destructive criticism has the tendency to make the team lose focus.
