Opoku Nti wants an end to Facebook use by players

The acting General Manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Opoku Nti has warned players against regular use of the popular social media site Facebook.

He believes the players spend a lot of time on social networks, instead of thinking of football issues that will enhance their career.

“As players they should think of football: trying to think through to get solution to certain mistakes they make, how to be creative in their play.

“Not to wake up facebooking, because it takes a lot of vital time away”, he said.

He reminded the players that they are not ordinary people, that is why a lot of people troop to the stadium to watch them play.

“They are not ordinary people, but rather extraordinary ordinary once that is why people pay to watch them play.”

Kotoko the league leaders will play BYC of Liberia in their quest of recapturing past glory in the CAF Champions league.
