* Appiah hits out at “foreigner” Nana Agyeman over comments.
Former Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah has hit out broadcast journalist Nana Kwaku Agyemang for questioning hia competence.
Kwasi Appiah was axed from the position of Black Stars head coach last week Friday.
Nana Kwaku Agyemang, a journalist as well a Uefa licence B holder is alleged to have said the former Kotoko defender is not good enough because he doesn’t have a UEFA licence, and shouldn’t have led the national team to the world cup.
“I don’t believe he is a coach that is why he is talking like that,” He told Adom Otchere, host of Metro Tv Good evening Ghana
“I don’t want to attack him because he keeps getting on my nerves. I believe Ghanaians should be talking about Ghana football. The Black Stars is for Ghanaians – we talk about our national team.
“He is a foreigner and should talk about – may be Kotoko or Hearts of Oak. He shouldn’t go talking about our own national team. We have suffered for the national team from youth up to now. If I a Ghanaian is criticizing or talking about my knowledge or anything, I don’t have a problem; but he is a foreigner who bought the name Nana Agyemang. So he should not criticise me.”
