Renowned Sports Presenter, Patrick Osei Agyemang, affectionately called Countryman Songo has debunked claims that he has been involved in a motor accident.
Rumours making the rounds on social media indicates that countryman Songo has been involved in a motor accident on the NI Highway and is in critical condition at the 37 Military hospital.
But speaking in an interview on Peace FM morning show programme,‘Kokrokoo’, Songo said he is alive and even preparing to go to work.
“I have been receiving so many calls since yesterday from people expressing their concern; asking me if I am responding to treatment and so on…but I don’t understand why people will spread such rumour about me but my God is bigger than that. I have not had any accident; I am even preparing to go to work,” he said.
The ‘fireman’ continued to ask Pastors in the country to “keep praying for me so that my better Ghana sports will go on with more fire to help Ghana sports…more fire”.
