Monday, July 28 Declared Public Holiday


The Ministry of the Interior has declared Monday, July 28 as a statutory public holiday.

The holiday has been declared to celebrate the 2014 Muslim festival of Eid-ul-Fitr, a statement signed by the Interior Minister, Mr. Kwesi Ahwoi, said, urging that the day be be observed as such.

Eid-ul-Fitr marks the completion of the month-long Ramadan fasting and prayer.
