Le Bleu Olivier: Giroud grabs brace in France win


Olivier Giroud was the star of the show when France played Norway in an international friendly in preparations toward the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil.

Didier Deschamps and his men won comfortably by four goals to nil against Per-Mathias Hoegmo’s side.

Juventus player Paul Pogba opened the scoring with the only goal in the first half as his 15th minute strike gave France a 1-0 lead going into the first half interval.

Olivier Giroud doubled the lead six minutes after break before Loic Remy added a third in the 67th minute.

Arsenal forward Giroud completed a brace in the 69th minute to give France a 4-0 victory over Norway on the night.

France have been drawn into the FIFA World Cup Group E with Switzerland, Ecuador and Honduras.
