AshantiGold’s application for review dismissed

AshantiGold’s application for review of the Appeals Committee’s decision upholding the forfeiture of their MTN FA Cup quarter-final match with Asante Kotoko has been dismissed.

After considering the application for review submitted by AshantiGold, a GFA statement said the Miners’ “application has no merit and therefore has been dismissed.”

AshantiGold failed to honour the last eight match against Asante Kotoko at the Accra Stadium on 13 April 2014.
