Black Satellites defender Joseph Aidoo has expressed confidence ahead of the team’s crucial African Youth Championship qualifier against the Shooting Stars of Sierra Leone at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Saturday.

The 19 year-old deputy captain of the side says he believes they can secure a massive win over their counterparts and advance to the next round of the qualifiers.

‘We are going all out and everyone is ready for the game. Surely by the grace of God we will beat them [Sierra Leone] and advance to the next stage,’ he told Ghanafans.com exclusively.

The hard-working defender went on to call for support from Tamale fans asking them to troop in their numbers to support the team to victory.

‘I want everyone to be at the stadium and support us especially the Tamale fans. With their support we will always come out victorious,’ he added.

The Black Satellites will be going into the game as favorites after recording a convincing 2-0 win over their counterparts a fortnight ago in Freetown.

Ghana, silver medalist at the last edition of the African Youth Championship in Algeria will be hoping to stage another appearance at the competition which will be held in Senegal in 2015.
