Ghanaian starlet MacCarthy Appiah handed a two-month trial by Anderlecht

Belgian champions Anderlecht will assess former Ghana U17 midfielder MacCarthy Appiah for two months when he arrived for a trial period, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The Asokwa Deportivo player caught the eyes of renowned scout Jan Streuer during the Ghana Football Scouting programme in February.

Streuer has likened the youngster to compatriot Kwadwo Asamoah and French youngster Paul Pogba.

Appiah can play as a defensive cum offensive midfielder.

The player’s representative Le Smart Business- a sports event, marketing and scouting agency- is  of high hopes the young chap will make the grades and pen a deal.
