I Don’t Apologize To Dishonest People – Ken Agyapong

NPP’s Member of parliament for Assin Central in the Central Region has officially deny reports that he has rendered an unqualified apology to Chairman of the New Patriotic Party Jake Obetsibi Lamptey for calling him a thief.

Speaking on his Accra Madina based Radio Station Oman Fm Boiling Programme on Thursday night denied rendering any apology to his party chairman adding that “I don’t apologize to dishonest people like Jake”.

He expressed dissatisfaction against the committee for deliberately leaking the report to the media without his attention, stressing that the committee did not threat him well.

“I still maintain my position and will never rescind it”

Meanwhile, special assistant to the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bryan Acheampong earlier Thursday disclosed that he does not need any apology from Hon. Kennedy Agyapong who accused them of being thieves and stealing motor bikes meant for the party.

Speaking to HELLO FM’s King Edward Thursday in an interview, Mr. Bryan Acheampong said he personally called Hon. Kennedy Agyapong on phone twice after the committee’s report was released but has not heard anything from him yet.

I don’t need any apology, I was only calling him to talk to him on the matter, no malice intended but he never responded to my calls.

After our exoneration, what we need to do as party is to get united.

The party needs unity now, that is the most important thing.

For me and my family we have forgiven him and do not want any apology from him, he reiterated.

For my chairman, Jake, I don’t know what he has and cannot think or say anything for him but for me I have whole-heartedly forgiven Kennedy Agyapong.
