The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that the balloting for positions on the ballot paper for the four National Chairman aspirants of the party has been scheduled for March 16, 2014.
The process was suspended following investigations into alleged drug related offences against one of the aspirant, Paul Afoko.
The Vetting Committee on Wednesday cleared Mr. Afoko of any wrong, paving way for the balloting to take place.
Director of Election for the NPP, Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah confirmed the date to Citi News.
“It will be coming on at the headquarters at exactly 11am in the morning; the four candidates will be balloting for various positions on the ballot paper,’’ he said.
