Ghanaians Should Be Cautious In Eating Habit – Manager

Mr Abdul Wahab Agbeve, General Manager of Agbeve Herbal Centre at Sowtuomo, has urged Ghanaians to be careful in their eating habits to avoid sicknesses.

He said; “in as much as one is hungry he or she should not just satisfy the hunger by taking in anything. As Africans we should cherish our local foods, especially the greens and the vegetables and avoid the fatty ones.”

Mr Wahab Agbeve who gave the advice in an interview with Ghana News Agency at Sowtuomo, a suburb of Accra said people should eat nutritionally-based balanced diet and that the preparation should be sound with manageable salt usage.

“Take in more leafy like moringa, borkorborkor, ademer, kontomire and vegetables,” he advised.

Mr Wahab Agbeve announced that as part of the centre’s corporate and social responsibility they are organizing a free general health screening at the facility on March 6, and that it was way of giving back to society what they have gained from them.

The General Manager said there would also be a blood donation activity at the day’s event and called on the people irrespective of their age to take advantage of the screening to check on their health status
