In unity lies strength and this was reechoed by President John Dramani Mahama during his recent address to the nation.
Speaking to the nation, the president stressed that without the above ingredient, it would be impossible to save the economy from falling down further.
In furtherance of making that dream materialized, Minority Leader of Parliament, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, speaking on Utv‘s Morning Show programme dubbed “Adekye Nsroma“, asked the president to call to order some of his ministers who are noted for spitting venom whenever they are given the opportunity to speak.
The minority leader identified mouthpiece of government at the Information Ministry as people who always yelp when no one has even stepped on their tail.
“Charity begins at home and the president must speak to some of his officials. Two heads they say is better than one …when someone offers an opinion, ministers at the information ministry are quick to come out and address that fellow as an unintelligent person. They normally use expressions which means only the ‘intelligent’ would side with government after a decision has been taken,” he said.
He however ended by welcoming the president’s call for unity.
