This Gov’t Is “Bereft Of Ideas & Innovations”…But I’m Hopeful By Now “Satan Has Left Mahama”

Policy Analyst for the People’s National Convention (PNC), Atik Mohammed has bemoaned the activities undertaken by President John Dramani Mahama and his government to revive the education sector.

Contributing to a panel discussion programme on Oman FM, Atik Mohammed prayed God’s guidance for the Mahama government and pleaded with God to redeem the government from any “demonic oppression.”

Giving credence to some comments made by the General Overseer of the Action Faith Chapel, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams a couple of months ago, Atik Mohammed insisted that the incumbent government is “Satan-possessed.”

Archbishop Duncan Williams requested divine help for the President and Finance Minister Seth Tekper and also offered prayers for the Ghana cedi to rise in order to enhance the development of the economy.

He hoped the Archbishop’s prayers would indeed deliver the government from the claws of the devil who has inhibited the administration from bringing out ideas and formulating better policies to salvage the economy, particularly the education sector.

“They are bereft. They are starved. They are without ideas and innovations…I am hopeful that by now; Satan has left them…I just only hope that Satan has left Seth Tekper. Satan has left President Mahama,” he said.

Speaking in relation to the declaration by the Ministry of Education to transfer some teachers to rural areas as a way of improving the quality of education in the country, the PPP devout member appealed to government to come out with an allowance system which would help the transferred teachers earn a good living.
