The Phobia defender has now set his sight on the Black Stars following a fantastic campaign at the CHAN tournament in South Africa.
Hearts of Oak defender Nuru Sulley has said his next target is to play for the Black Stars after impressing at the CHAN tournament.
The former Mighty Jets centre back was one of Ghana’s instrumental players during the tournament last month.
“I dream of a call-up into the Black Stars like everybody else does. Although we could not get the main prize [in the CHAN tournament], I was really happy with my performance,” Sulley told Allsports.com.gh.
“I am just hoping and praying I get another opportunity with the Black Stars. I still have a lot of improvement to do, but I do hope to get a chance in the main Black Stars to fulfil my dream.”
Sulley will need to maintain his form in the First Capital Plus League in order to make his case stronger ahead of the announcement of Ghana’s World Cup squad in May.
