Michael Essien makes Milan debut

Michael Essien has been named in the starting XI for AC Milan’s game against Napoli in the Italian Serie A. The Ghanaian makes his debut after a transfer from English Premier League side Chelsea in the January transfer window. Essien was on the bench for Milan last week but couldn’t come on to make his debut. Milan boss explained the decision claiming the Ghanaian needed time to settle but could play a part against Napoli.

Sulley Muntari however has been named on the bench for the Italian club despite his heroics in their game last weekend.
