Her character in hit TV show Revenge is hellbent on seeking vengeance for the crimes committed against her father.
But as she shot scenes for the second series of the programme on Thursday, Emily VanCamp went for innocent style in a girly yellow dress.
The 26-year-old actress looked chic and summery in the bold outfit, which showed off her slim frame, as she filmed on the beach in Los Angeles.

Emily left her blonde hair loose in
soft waves as she shot new scenes, and hid her eyes beneath a pair of
sunglasses in between takes.
Fans of Revenge will no doubt be
waiting with bated breath to see what situations Emily will come up with
in the next season of the show, which premieres in America on September
30th.
Talking about why the show has proved
so popular, Emily said: ‘I think revenge is a universal theme. It’s fun
to delve into the lives
of the rich and beautiful people of the Hamptons.

‘The economy is in such
a bad shape that people are looking for an escape – and Revenge can
provide that escape. It all came together with perfect timing for us.
The show has really caught on.’
And asked who she would want to see
guest star on the second series of the show, Emily said she had set her
sights on Dexter’s Michael C. Hall.
She said: ‘Michael C. Hall should
come on to the show as Dexter and help Emily out a little bit. Come on,
what a crossover! Maybe he should be one of her revenge gurus? That
would be awesome.’

While Revenge has become a popular
viewing choice for people throughout the world, Canadian-born actress
Emily has attracted a huge fanbase through the programme.
One reason for Emily’s massive fanbase is the actress’ pretty girl next door looks.
In a recent interview with Self
magazine, Emily spoke about how she maintains her svelte physique,
crediting regular pilates classes for helping her stay slim.

She said: ‘Pilates is my favorite core strengthener. I do it three or four times a
week. With all the strengthening and lengthening, it’s like ballet.
Plus, you get to do it lying down!
‘The Hundreds move is a killer. I
can’t say it’s my favorite, because it’s not easy, but it works!’
