Galatasaray Join Asamoah Gyan Chase

Asamoah Gyan

Turkish giants Galatasaray have joined the chase to sign Asamoah Gyan from Sunderland.

Gyan had a successful season-long loan spell at UAE side Al Ain where his 22 goals helped the Dubai-based club to win their tenth Etisalat Pro League title.

It is clear the Ghana star will not return to his parent club Sunderland in the English Premier League.

This has alerted a host of clubs including Al Ain who want to close the deal for his services. Some clubs in the Middle East have also expressed interest in snapping him up.

Gyan moved to Udinese as a teenager in 2003 where he spent two seasons on loan at Modena.

He was signed by Rennes in 2008 before joining Sunderland after the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals.
