Torino won their last title in 1976
Seven-time Italian champions Torino regained their place in Serie A on Sunday after a three-year absence as a 2-0 win over Modena confirmed their promotion.
Torino — who won their last title in 1976 and have been in the shadow of fellow Turin club Juventus since — could be joined by Pescara later on Sunday.
There are several other teams vying for promotion to the top tier including Sassuolo, Varese, Padova, Verona and Sampdoria, the latter two both former Italian champions.
The top two go up directly while the third to sixth-placed sides battle it out in play-offs for the final promotion place.
