The Federal Government is planning to increase water supply by 75 per cent in the next three years, the Minister of Water Resources, Mrs Sarah Ochekpe, has said.
She gave the assurance in Abuja during the ministerial platform for the democracy day celebration and first anniversary of President Goodluck Jonathan.
Mrs Ochekpe said boosting water supply would assist the government to reduce infant mortality rate, enhance better social and human development indices, as well as boost its objective of achieving the Millennium Development Goals.
