She may be a doppelganger for Sarah Palin in her latest movie, but Julianne Moore couldn’t dress more differently from the former Alaskan politician.
The 51-year-old actress would have surprised the politicians in Washington D.C. last night as she attended a screening of her new film in a daring green dress.
The velvet Tom Ford creation gave onlookers an eyeful of her cleavage as she posed at the showing of Game Change at the Newseum.

After attending the TV movie’s premiere in New York in a strapless monochrome Lanvin column dress, Moore has decided to up the ante in the sexy states for the D.C. screening.
Game Change sees Moore play Palin in a HBO film about John McCain’s failed U.S. Presidential bid in 2008.
Speaking on the red carpet, she said: ‘I think the movie is less about Sarah Palin and more about our political process.

‘If anything, I think what we take away from it is: why are we so attracted to people who are so incredibly attractive and charismatic and seem like movie stars? Why is that something we look for in our political leaders.’
In the trailer for the HBO movie, Moore says very little. Her resemblance to Palin, however, is uncanny.

Moore makes her metamorphosis in a tailored suit, politically appropriate make-up and wire-framed glasses.
In
the trailer, John McCain (Ed Harris) realises that his best chance of
winning the presidency is to ‘change the game’ by having a female
candidate run alongside him.
He orders legal advisor Steve Schmidt (Woody Harrelson) to find him a woman and lo and behold, America meets Sarah Palin.

The film is based on the book Game Change: Obama and the Clintons, McCain and Palin and the Race of a Lifetime, by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann and will be directed by Austin Powers director Jay Roach.
Moore recently said that she became disgusted with how modern-day political campaigns are run while researching her role.
Game Change premieres on HBO in the U.S. on 10 March at pm (ET).

She told ABC News: ‘So much is about
how do you get on the air, how do you get the most media attention, how
do you make the most noise.’
‘When, in fact, what we’re all
looking for is leadership. We don’t want noise. We want people who are
going to take care of us.’
The 47-year-old politician is equally unenthusiastic about the film being made in the first place.
Palin told Fox News: ‘I think I’ll just grit my teeth and bear whatever comes what may with that movie.’

She joked: ‘Well, I am all about job
creation and I guess I could provide some of these gals who pretend like
they’re met with some job security.’
‘I would ask though that – if they’re
of the mind of spreading the wealth around – that perhaps they want to
spring for one of my kid’s braces or something as they capitalise on
pretending to be me.’
She is also referring to Tina Fey, who played Palin in a series of sketches on Saturday Night Live during the election.
