Hisense Ghana on Wednesday officially unveiled the latest brands of Hisense digital television sets onto the Ghanaian market in Accra.

With the launch, Ghana became the seventh country to represent the brand after South Africa, Egypt, Senegal, Benin, Algeria and Nigeria.

“Although the brand Hisense has been in existence as far back as 1969 as a small radio factory in China, it has grown into a multi-billion dollar global conglomerate, with 22 subsidiaries in consumer electronics, home appliances, mobile communications and information technology,” Dinah de-Graft Quaye, Communications & Human Resources Manager of HiSense Ghana explained.

According to her, HiSense is known and enjoyed as a “Grade A” product in Europe, the Americas, Australia, Africa and South East Asia. In Ghana, HiSense products are sold at affordable prices.

“Our comparative advantage has been our price and high quality. So as part of our corporate agenda, we look forward to having at least a HiSense product in every Ghanaian home. This is why we have made our prices affordable,” Ms Quaye noted.

Attached to almost every HiSense product is a warranty of not less than five years.

“The 5-year warranty we offer to our cherished customers is not an advertising gimmick, neither is it a bait to attract people into patronizing our products. It is because of the global status enjoyed by our products- Grade A.

Hisense products are sold in over 130 countries with sales revenue reaching over 9.5 billion in 2010.

“High technology, quality, integrity and responsibility are the four key elements that guides our every aspect of production and these have helped the company to churn out various technologies that meet the growing taste and preferences of its customers over the years, hence our tag line – Innovation For Life.”

Hisense products are energy saving by design and environmentally-friendly.
