The body of a 10-year-old boy who drowned on New Year’s Day has been recovered at Gulu Beach, outside East London.
The body of a 10-year-old boy who drowned on New Year’s Day has been recovered at Gulu Beach, outside East London, Eastern Cape police said on Friday.
“The said 10-year-old boy drowned in the afternoon of the New Year’s Day while swimming with other children at Kidds Beach,” said Captain Ernest Sigobe.
“The body was later positively identified by the father of the child as it was recovered.”
The boy was a local in one of the Kidds Beach villages. – Sapa
