Benguela — A Police Sciences Higher Education School, based in Baía Farta District, central Benguela Province, will be inaugurated on 28 February 2012, said Friday the deputy commander of the National Police, commissioner chief Paulo de Almeida.
The police deputy commander was speaking to ANGOP after assessing the future centre with the capacity to enrol 300 students.
Paulo de Almeida said that the creation of this school aims to improve the quality of services and personnel related to the professional and technical training of staff.
Another purpose has to do with the constant upgrading of the personnel, giving them the possibility to specialise in their careers.
The construction works of the 12-room centre started two years ago and will end early 2012.
