Mphela decision today

28 July 2011

It is understood that Glasgow Celtic manager Neil Lennon will decide today whether to sign any Katlego Mphela who featured in a friendly with Wolves last night.

Bafana Bafana striker Mphela, Croatian goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa, and Slovakian forward Milos Lacny all featured in the 2-0 defeat.

Afterwards Lennon hinted that Pletikosa perhaps had the best chance of landing a deal.

Mphela was unlucky not to score during the 45 minutes he got in the famous Celtic shirt. But despite coming close with a header and working really hard, the 26-year-old will know his fate today.

Mphela is due to return from his five-day trial this weekend.
