AS Roma’s move for Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenbug has stalled.
Roma sports chief Walter Sabatini was in Amsterdam yesterday for talks over the keeper.
“I can confirm that there was a meeting between the two clubs,” agent Robert Jansen told calciomercato.it.
“However, the negotiations have broken down. At the moment there is an important difference between the demand and the offer.
“We’ll try to close the operation, but the negotiations are very complicated right now.”
