Luanda — Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, Thursday in Luanda, received a message from his Burundian colleague, Pierre Nkurunziza.
The message was delivered by Burundi’s ombudsman, Mohamed Rukara, who is in Angola for a visit.
Speaking to the press at the end of the meeting held in the Presidential Palace, Mohamed Rukara said that the message expresses his country’s availability to strengthen ties with Angola in various fields.
Burundi, also hit by a civil war, wants to learn from Angola’s experience in consolidation of peace and promotion of democracy and harmony, stressed the official.
