Fifa has cleared ex-Norway U21 goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey to play for Ghana, three years after he applied to play for the country. The world football governing body has been haggling with the Ghana FA over the papers to complete his international switch.

Berekum Chelsea will clash with their city rivals Berekum Arsenal in a friendly game with officially crown the Blues the champions of Ghana.

The match will played at the Berekum Golden City Park on 10 July.

Berekum Chelsea finished with a healthy 11 point lead to win their maiden league title.

But because huge celebrations are lined for the lifting of the title, a match is organised before the title winners are crowned.

Berekum Chelsea will receive a token prize-money of US$4,000 and a trophy.

Last season Aduana Stars won the Ghana Premier League as debutants.
