Sunderland have signed Sebastian Larsson and Kieren Westwood on free transfers.
The former Birmingham City winger and Coventry City goalkeeper were both out of contract at the end of the season and will remain at their sides until their official switch to the Stadium of Light on July 1.
A statement from the club read: “Sunderland AFC today confirmed that terms have been agreed with Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Keiren Westwood and Swedish international Sebastian Larsson.
“The players will officially sign with the club on July 1st 2011.”
The duo arrive after South Korean striker Ji Dong-Won had agreed to move to Steve Bruce’s side after Sunderland and Chunnam Dragons reached an acceptable offer.
