Nana Akufo-AddoThe flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo has described Ghana’s foreign relations as dead under the Prof Mills-led NDC government.

Nana Addo explained that the controversial “Dzi wo fie Asem” policy which Ghana adopted during the crises in Cote D’Ivoire has destroyed the trust foreign countries in the President.

He made these statements when he met Ghanaians in London as well as the media as part of his campaign tour for the 2012 general elections.

Nana Addo promised to redeem Ghana’s destroyed image should he win the mandate to lead the country.

Touching on other matters, he talked about the urgent need to review the country’s education system to be able to achieve its development targets.

He said the NPP will redefine basic education by expanding it from the Primary to the Senior High Schools adding that if the nation does not have a good educational system, the country cannot achieve its goals.

Nana Akuffo-Addo stated that the country cannot grow if it continues to have 100,000 students failing at the basic levels.

For their part, the former Ministers of Justice and Attorney General as well as Finance and Economic Planning , Joe Ghartey and Yaw Osafo Maafo respectively said the NDC must be kicked out of power because no law works in Ghana anymore with NDC foot soldiers going round sacking everybody.
