Angola: Recreativo Da Caála Wants to Beat Benfica De Luanda Sunday

17 June 2011 Luanda — Founded in 1979, the Angolan Football Federation (FAF) voted on Thursday to choose its sixth chairperson, in an act in which the preferences tend to be for the head of list A, Pedro Neto. Pedro Neto, who is also a former footballer, will have his victory confirmed on June 23, for it is only then that the results must be officially published, as demanded by the electoral law.

Huambo — The coach of Recreativo da Caála, Luís Aires, said on Thursday in the central Huambo province that his team is ready to beat Benfica de Luanda on Sunday, in the 13th national first division football championship.

Speaking to the press, the coach said that it will be a tough game, but he said that his squad will put pressure on the opponent, and thus win the match.

Recreativo da Caála occupy the 10th position with 14 points, Benfica de Luanda are at 15th with 10 points.
