A total of 31 Nigerians deported from South Africa arrived through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on Wednesday.

The deportees, 30 males and one female, who arrived the country at about 12.30 pm aboard a chartered flight were said to have been deported for immigration offences.

They were accompanied on the flight by six crew members and six security operatives.

They were released to go to their different homes across the country after they went through normal immigrations and security screenings at the Cargo/Hajj Terminal of the airport.
