(Ode to Aunty Mary Owens Chapman)

Let’s celebrate her Life

Well-lived in everyway

For ninety-eight odd years she lived

Let’s celebrate her Life

Let’s celebrate her Love

A Love she showed to one and all

To family, friends and neighbours too

Let’s celebrate her love

Let’s celebrate the warmth

She radiated to us all

Friend, stranger, young and old

Let’s celebrate her warmth

Let’s celebrate the joys

She brought into our Lives in many ways

The young, the old, the weak, the strong

Let’s celebrate her joys

Let’s celebrate the care

She showed to all who came her way

The wisdom shared, the guiding words

Let’s celebrate her care

Let’s thank the Lord Our God

For giving her Long life

And pray He grants her Lasting peace and rest

In His Eternal Home, Amen
