Menongue — The Deputy Minister of Welfare and Social Reintegration (MINARS), Maria da Luz, expressed on Wednesday in Menongue city, eastern Kuando Kubango province, her satisfaction at the assistance projects to elderly sheltering home, disable people centre of kavikiviki and the construction of 10 social houses for handicapped persons.
Speaking to the press on Wednesday at the end of her visit, the official said that the government of Kuando Kubango province is committed to actions aimed at lessening the difficulties of parentless children, disabled people and elderlies.
According to her, MINARS is implementing various projects of training children guardians, construction houses to look after pregnat women.
MINARS is also implementing reintegration project of fomer disabled militaries.
During her stay in the region, Maria da Luz visited Mbembwa centre, disabled people centre of Kavikiviki, elderly sheltering home in Hoji-Ya-Henda ward.
