Mozambique Delegates Meet Ruling, Opposition MPs

Luanda — A delegation of the Mozambique Parliament, led by its speaker, Veronica Nataniel Macamo Dlhovo, met Monday in Luanda separately with representatives of the ruling and opposition parties, MPLA and UNITA, respectively.

The meetings served for an exchange of information about their participation in the operation of the Angolan legislative organ.

Speaking to the press, Veronica Macamo said the meeting was fruitful as it allowed the members of the delegation to learn from Angola’s experience.

The programme of the visiting delegation includes meetings with the Group of Parliamentary Women and other female organisations, to exchange experience on the inclusion of women in power and decision making organs.
