Luanda — MPLA is engaged in building a just, fair and developed society, after facing various obstacles that hindered its process of development, including a long and destructive war.
This statement was made by the MPLA Politburo’s secretary for economic and social affairs, Manuel Nunes Junior, made during the solemn opening act of the regional African commission of the World Federation of Democratic Youth, which took place for the first time in Angola.
In is intervention the politician stated that the ruling party wants to build a society based on equality of opportunities for every citizen, human development, as well as justice, in the distribution of national wealth.
Manuel Nunes Junior stressed that it is with this model that Angola will establish ties with neighbouring countries and other nations of the world, based on reciprocity, mutual advantage and cooperation in which every party benefits.
The regional African commission of the World Federation of Democratic Youth counted on the presence of member countries, namely Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Zambia, DRC, Sudan and Mozambique.
