Al-Ittihad power playing striker, Azuka Izu has been included in the Dream team V squad that would square up to the Young Taifa stars of Tanzania in Dares-Salam in the first leg second round Olympic games qualifier on Sunday.

Azuka a former Sharks of Port Harcourt star striker made his first appearance for the Dream Team V, in the friendly game against Gombe United during the opening of the Patanmi Stadium Gombe.

The player was drafted into the twenty-one man squad following the departure of Aberdeen of Scotland attacking midfielder Sone Aluko, who was granted permission to go sort out club matters.

“After watching the first round second leg game between Tanzania and Cameroon in Dares-Salam I must confess that we have the team to go pick the three points come Sunday”. Declared Stanley Eguma the Dream Team V first assistant Coach.

“This is not to say that we are under rating the Young Taifa stars. We are conscious of the fact that there is no minnow any more in Africa football but we are at the same time determined to go all out for the three points so as to make the return leg a mere formality” he added.

Meanwhile Dream Team V spokesperson, Arafat Aliu yesterday confirmed that Leicester City attacking midfielder Uchechi Daniel who suffered a muscle tear in the friendly against Costa Rica would head back to the UK today.

He also informed that club engagement has ruled out brace hero in the Dream team V last qualifying game against Liberia, Ganiu Useni from the Dares-Salam cracker.

The Team will depart the country from Lagos with Kenya Airways today by 1pm.
