31 May 2011 Luanda — The National Children's Institute (INAC) will implement sensitisation actions throughout the month of June, aimed at making society realise that the family is a fundamental element in the defence and promotion of children. According to a document from the institution, issued in the ambit of the commemorative programme dubbed "June, Children", the family is the centre of life in society and in it children learn the fundamental values that will guide them in adult life, thus strengthening the foundations of the nation.

Luanda — An Angolan multi-sectorial delegation, led by the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Yaba Pedro Alberto, is expected to leave on Tuesday for Windhoek in Namibia, to discuss issues related to people in vulnerable situation.

This was said to Angop on Monday by the deputy minister himself.

Yaba Alberto said that the matter will be debated in the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) and it is aimed at creating common policies to resolve this problem in the region.

The official said that Angola will be represented in the forum by four citizens such as staff and national directors of Ministry of Family and Women Promotion, as well as Ministry of Welfare and Social Reintegration.

The forum will happen on 1-3 June in Namibia.

According to him, the delegation will take the Angolan experience in the social reintegration field, developed for the social housing benefiting the youths.

SADC is grouped by Angola, Botswana, DR Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
