Lubango — Technicians from the sectors of health and hotels in the southern Huila Province will travel Tuesday to Italy where they will attend a training programme in their respective areas.

The programme is being financed by the Italian foundation, Marco di Martino, in partnership with the provincial government of Huila.

The confirmation was given Monday to ANGOP by an official with the mentioned Italian institution, Aldo di Clemente, who added that the group of beneficiaries will be made up of 16 people, among physicians, nurses and hotel work technicians.

Aldo di Clemente reminded that this project is part of a protocol that was signed in August 2010 between the governments of Huila and Abruzo (Italy).

The health technicians will attend a six-month course, while the programme for the hotel management technicians will last 45 days.

The Marco di Martino organisation has been working in Huila Province for over eight years.
