The criminal case involving the Inspector General of Police (IGP) against Abubacarr Saidykhan, a journalist and his younger brother, Ousman Saidykhan, ( a grade eleven student) did not proceed for the second time in a row.
The case was on Thursday 19th of May 2011 adjourned by the court.
The defence counsel and the two accused persons were seen in the court room waiting for the trial to commence.
The defence lawyer, Assan Martin, later informed this reporter and the two accused persons that the case will be heard on the 31st of May 2011.
The two accused persons is jointly charged with common assault, assaulting a police officer and willful damage to property. The accused persons denied all charges leveled against them.
