Two pupils in Kirinyaga have been kicked out from a school on suspicion that they were devil worshipers.
The two were sent away after their parents disagreed with the school’s administration following the allegations. The girls were sent away after some pupils complained that they were being forced to join the sect.
The standard four and five pupils of Kirima Primary School have even been sent away from their homes by angry villagers who are now fearing that their children could be sacrificed.
The school head teacher of the school James Kariuki said that they were forced to send the girls away after one of them wrote a note to her teacher ordering for blood from him.
Kiamuthambi vicar-in-charge Benson Munene, who lead the villagers in prayers, said devil worshipping is only a belief. He said that one of the girls was supposed to go to Kenyatta National Hospital for a head scan after having several falls when she was a child.
Munene has however urged residents to stop having mixed believes but to stick to christian values. Munene said several people have held prayers in the homes calling for co-operation between all church leaders saying that what is expected is civic education on the issue. He said exocism pyares have been held to cleanse the girls.
